Description
A phased refurbishment of the Grade II listed hotel, including a selection of guest rooms, suites, associated corridors and stairwells, including fire safety and electrical upgrades incorporated. The works also encompassed minor external updates, including works to balconies and selected areas of the façade via use of scaffolding.
All refurbishment works are being undertaken with consideration to the historic character and listed status of the building.
As CDM Advisor to the Client, monthly site inspections are carried out to monitor the appointed Principal Contractor, ensuring that CDM duties are being fulfilled and that risks—such as those associated with contractor-to-public interface and dust control—are effectively managed throughout the programme.
