MDA's Charity Partner for 2026

We are pleased to confirm that our Charity Partner for 2026 is the British Heart Foundation.

Our MD, Chris Lester, said: 

"The charity is very close to my own heart having, as recently as June 2023, undergone open heart surgery at the Bristol Heart Institute (BHI) to repair a leaky mitral valve and Atrial Septal Defect or ASD (essentially a hole in the heart). These were both things I was born with but was only discovered 6 months earlier, so understandably a shock to the system but the consultants, doctors, nurses and staff in the hospital were and are amazing, helping myself and countless others with similar and more complex heart issues. Massimo Caputo, a British Heart Foundation Professor of Congenital Heart Surgery and Consultant at the BHI was my surgeon and I was lucky enough to catch up with him earlier this week and I am pleased that, as a business, we will be able to contribute to the amazing work that Massimo and his colleagues do to research and establish better and more effective ways in which to help prevent further issues, and help people of all ages with congenital heart defects.

Over the course of the year, myself and others within MDA Consulting will be raising awareness and, of course, lots of money for this amazing cause and we will look forward to hopefully roping in a few clients, contacts, friends and family to help along the way."
