Supporting a Diverse Future Through the Bristol Property Inclusion Charter

Monday December 2nd 2019

This week MDA Consulting proudly became a signatory to the Bristol Property Inclusion Charter – a city-wide initiative to drive diversity in the property industry of Bristol.

Founded by Karl Brown and sponsored by his workplace Clarke Willmott – the Charter has already received an astonishing amount of support from the city and local businesses, as the city strives towards a more inclusive future.  Karl believes that the fantastic opportunities in the property industry should be available to all and the response he has had from the local industry has confirmed he does not stand alone.

Karl remarked; “I am delighted that MDA Consulting has become a signatory to the Bristol Property Inclusion Charter. The Bristol property industry provides plenty of great job opportunities. As someone who is Bristol born and bred, I would like persons from all backgrounds in Bristol to be aware of these job opportunities and if interested to aspire to join the Bristol property industry. I founded the Charter to help in trying to achieve this objective. I also believe that recruitment of the best talent from all backgrounds will enrich our local property industry.”

Kevin Heaton – Director and Head of MDA’s Bristol office – commented that “MDA are very pleased to have signed up to the Bristol Property Inclusion Charter, the first ever city property inclusion charter in the UK, and to commit to achieving the Charter’s objectives. We are thrilled to support him and the Bristol Property Inclusion Charter in promoting a balanced workforce and we look forward to playing our part in shaping change in our industry”.

The future of the Bristol property scene is bright, and this Charter will inspire the city to be enhanced further by ethnic diversity, gender balance and impartiality.
