Description
MDA provided Project Management and Quantity Surveying services to the Underfall Yard Trust on their Recovery and Reinstatement project, following a devastating fire in May 2023.
The Yard is a Scheduled Monument and the project included the recovery of historic material from the debris for re-use and as patterns for re-casting.
MDA provided early cost advice to inform budgeting and funding of the project from NLHF. MDA’s services also included the appointment of the professional team, procurement of surveys and reports, programme and procurement advice and risk management.
Works included repairs to Block E roof and a total rebuilding of Block F used for boatbuilding.
